LIFE IS LIKE AN APPLE TREE

Life is like an apple tree,

It’s difficult to climb,

We see the juicy apples,

We reach for the sublime,

 

We learn that many apples

Are filled with worms, what’s more,

We learn that many apples

Are rotten to the core,

 

Sometimes, we reach great heights,

The world is ours, but then,

Sometimes, we fail and fall,

And then, begin again.
