Tonight’s the night

For goblins and ghosts,

And all other creatures

Which scare you the most,

 

I’ll see people scurrying

For tricks and treats,

Others will be hurrying

For drinks and eats,

 

Did you think I was talking

About Halloween?

No, that’s not at all

What I mean,

 

Come with me,

For the greatest fright,

I am going to Walmart,

Late tonight!   😊

Lover, won’t you marry me,

I promise, Dear, you will see,

Each day, a halo o’er your head,

And breakfast served to you in bed,

 

I’ll do the dishes, scrub the floor,

Grant all your wishes, but there’s more,

I promise unicorns and rainbows,

And sweet highs for all your lows,

 

In short, my Dear, you’ll be my Queen,

Unlike any ever seen!

But Dear, I hope you won’t discover,

I promised the same to each prior lover!   😊

COCKROACHES AND POLITICIANS!

Mother Nature is perfect,

Her choices, beyond reproach,

But I question the existence

Of the common cockroach,

 

When you spotlight them,

They run scared and stupid,

Like the Stooges, Moe to Shem,

They are vile and putrid,

 

And what other creatures,

Leave marks everywhere?

See streaks of poop?

Roaches were there,

 

Roaches, like politicians,

Multiply and thrive,

Chop off their heads,

Both are still alive,

 

But one thing about roaches,

After a nuclear blast,

All humans may be gone,

But roaches will last,

 

So, maybe I’m wrong,

There’s great ammunition,

To say: “Let’s rid the world

Of all politicians!”   😊
