THE STINKIEST JOB!

violin

THE STINKIEST JOB!

I have the stinkiest job

Which ever stank,

I clean the insides

Of septic tanks!

They lower me by

A slender rope,

Which I pray

Won’t break, I hope,

And I must use

A small toothbrush,

I scrub and scrub,

And never rush,

As I scrub the walls

Inside vile bins,

I listen to strings

Of Vivaldi’s violins,

Then, I scrub and scrub

With bars of lye soap,

To remove all

Tank poop, I hope,

I love my job,

But I may ask,

My boss if I…

May wear a mask!   😊

THE OLDER THE VIOLIN…

violin

THE OLDER THE VIOLIN…

Do you care I’m much older?

He’s just a flash in the pan,

Why fall in love with a boy,

When you can fall in love with a man?

He may “climb your mountain” longer,

If that is all you seek,

But loving him couldn’t be wronger,

Let me take you to the peak,

Young guys only think of self,

Old guys know a thing or two,

He’ll leave his brain on a shelf,

I’ll focus more on pleasing you!

And please be rememberin’,

Before you pick,

“The older the violin,

The sweeter the music!”   😊
