THE MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE

I sent a message in a bottle

Far across the salty sea,

I hoped that my true love

Would soon reach out to me,

But my “lover” was a troll

With white hairs in its nose,

Which extended all the way

From its nose down to its toes,

So, as for messages in a bottle,

I say, never more!

I’ll just settle for a “so-so”

Who lives next door!   😊
