NOT MY TIME TO GO!
They say you must die,
When it’s your “time to go,”
But I say, if it’s MY time,
Then, it ain’t so!
There are many things
I still want to do,
I want to climb Mt. Everest,
And take up Kung Fu,
Besides, I want my lawyer
To have time to negotiate,
Whether I may enter
The Pearly Gates,
And before I go,
I want to sew more wild seeds,
And, if I have time,
I may do a few good deeds,
So, if you see Father Time,
Tell him I’ve no time for sorrow,
Maybe he can return
And ask again tomorrow! 😊
