TWO LONELY SOULS

TWO LONELY SOULS!

Two lonely souls,

Passing in the night,

One sees the other,

And thinks he might

Ask her out for coffee,

And he musters the nerve,

Until she turns and shouts,

“Get lost, Perve!”   🙂

THE LITTLE FROG

THE LITTLE FROG!

Way down South

In the Okefenokee,

There sat a sad frog

Who felt a bit pokey,

The frog had many

Sad memories to nurse,

As he pondered his fate

In the universe,

He had lost all his friends

Which was really bad,

But he’d also just lost

His mom and dad,

So, he sat there

In a cool, dense fog,

A lonely, little frog

Sitting on a log,

Then, much to his surprise,

Before you can say “giblet,”

There sat, before his eyes,

A girl frog, who went “ribbit!”

Now, the little frog

No longer felt pokey,

Had he found a new friend?

Okey, dokey!   😊

THE LONELY POET

THE LONELY POET

Poets may write with words so bright,

But inside, they’re dark and lonely,

Have this insight about a poet’s plight,

Know it’s not just others only,

Loneliness is like a jealous friend,

Which clutches heart and soul so tightly,

While some poets may try to pretend,

They wrestle, each day and nightly,

So, know it and please hug a poet!

Relieve their utter despair!

And really, really show it!

Show a poet you care!   🙂
