MUCK STUCK

I’m in love quicksand,

And I’m sinking fast!

Please throw me a line,

Don’t know if I can last,

 

I was taking a hike,

When I got stuck,

At first, it felt so good

To feel my toes in the muck,

 

But now, I sink like a rock,

Like DeNiro in Cape Fear,

I fear I’m going down,

I’ll no longer be here,

 

But wait, I just woke,

It was all just a dream!

I’m not stuck in love quicksand,

Nothing was as it seemed,

 

Now, I wish somebody

Would throw me a love line,

I dream again to be muck stuck

And wish you were all mine!  😊
