A MODERN JACK AND JILL TALE

A MODERN JACK AND JILL TALE

Jack and Jill went up the hill

To fetch a pale of water,

They both fell down

And hired lawyers from town,

And litigated ever after!

Before the well owner could say, “whas-sup?”

Both Jack and Jill had lawyered up,

Do you think it’s fair — is or is’n?

The poor well owner was sent to prison!

Then, Jack sued Jill, as another attack!

And Jill hired more lawyers and sued Jack right back!

The well was closed down when Jill sought an injunction,

Then, without water, the town could no longer function.

And so, you’ve heard my tale, a sad, sad tale,

Everyone sued everyone, it was litigious hell,

And in the town, there was no more laughter,

As all the lawyers litigated ever after.   😦
