Many things are common
To the common cold,
It drains your brain,
And makes you feel old,
My throbbing head feels like
It just lost a war,
And my aching body
Is just plain sore,
And if my nose keeps running,
Hide all scissors and clippers,
Or I may grab one
And snip, snip, snipp ‘er! 🙂

Since the beginning of time,
Winters make us cold,
There’s no reason or rhyme,
Being cold gets so old!
But I know what it takes,
To stop cold limbs and livers!
Please listen to me,
To stop shakes and shivers!
This winter, you’ll need no coat,
Nor fires with pollution,
There’s a better way,
A much simpler solution!
Just one kiss from you,
And the hope for more,
Making love – that’s what to do,
To make cold hit the door! 😊
