NATURE’S MYSTERIES!

On a cool Spring morn,

I was buried in the dirt,

I felt alive and reborn,

Not once did I hurt,

 

I lay there with the worms,

And every other creeping thing,

The earth felt warm and firm,

What would the future bring?

 

Spring rains quenched my thirst,

As I felt my body change,

Would I be the first

To experience such a range?

 

Nature’s filled with mysteries,

And nothing more I’ll be tellin’,

But you’ve heard my history

Of how I became a water melon!  😊
