Please, please, hear me fully,

I submit Cupid is a bully!

 

First, the most outrageous thing,

He shot me with an arrow, “zing!”

 

Essentially, Cupid gave me a shove

And made an unwitting fool to fall in love,

 

Next, the one he made my honey,

Divorced me and took all my money!

 

And while Cupid had no moral compunction,

Where he shot me…there’s now no function!

 

So, call me naïve, but don’t call me stupid!

My team of lawyers will now sue Cupid!
