DAUGHTERS AND THEIR DADS
When she was first born,
Her daddy held her in his arms,
And from that first morn,
He’d vow to save her from all harm,
Daughters and their daddies
Have a special bond, you see,
A love no one taught her,
A love born naturally,
Although she’s now grown,
She’s still his precious pearl,
Both of them have always known
She’ll stay his little girl!
Today is her wedding day,
And though it may appear
He is happy and okay,
Inside, he’ll shed a tear.
Yes, daughters and their daddies
Have a special bond, you see,
A love no one taught her,
A love born naturally. 🙂
Awww that’s such a sweet poem

So lovely! Did a recent wedding inspire this? Both of my daughters were married this year.

Yes! My precious daughter got married this summer, too! I can’t even fathom TWO!!!

One in February and the other in September. Both short (2 months) engagements so it was fine and the second one did all the planning herself.
